Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Licensures/Certifications:
National registry through the American Registry of Radiologic Technology and state licensure through the American Board of Physician Quality Assurance.
Experience:
At least 3 years of supervisory experience
At least 5 years of progressively more responsible clinical experience
Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of Radiology services, theory, practices and regulations
• Advanced skill in operational and personnel management
• Advanced skill in computers and personal productivity applications
• Skill in data analysis, budget planning, oral and written communication, basic arithmetic, and customer service
• Analytical skills necessary to determine the best method of providing requested diagnostic images based on the specifics of the individual case.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources Functions:
• Manages human resources within established productivity guidelines and the personnel budget.
• Facilitates training and development efforts.
• Develops staff to reach potential.
• Facilitates orientation of new staff.
• Maintains employee competencies.
• Monitors and reviews work performance of the staff.
• Interviews and selects personnel.
Financial Management:
• Manages the Department’s budget and prepares variance reports as appropriate and makes recommendations for capital budget in consultation with appropriate Hospital staff.
• Manages accounts payable issues.
• Processes payroll for assigned areas.
• Maintains inventory and analyzes cost of supplies and services.
Quality and Patient Safety Initiatives:
• Oversees staff involvement in quality control and improvement efforts, general safety, and infection control procedures.
• Initiates, monitors, evaluates performance improvement on a unit level as needed.
• Monitors trends, reviews and revises systems/processes as appropriate.
• Ensure standards of practices are met and incorporates compliance with regulatory laws.
Service Excellence:
• Monitors, investigates and responds to customer feedback, modifying office systems, processes and patient care as needed.
• Meets or exceeds patient statistical targets.
Patient Care Management:
• Manages the clinical practice of Radiology in designated clinical area.
• Participates in the development of patient care programs and/or expansion of services.
• Interprets Radiology standards to Radiology personnel, other departments, physicians, patients and the community.

$75,318.06 - $135,572.50Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
