Join our dynamic healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Radiology Scheduling Specialist to navigate patients through their radiology services journey, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
This position will require training onsite for approximately 2 months & then move to a fully remote opportunity!
Key Responsibilities:
+ Radiology Scheduling: Efficiently schedule radiology appointments, including MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, and X-rays. Communicate necessary pre-appointment preparations to patients.
+ Patient Navigation: Serve as a concierge, guiding patients through the continuum of care to ensure optimal outcomes. Coordinate all appointments and consultations, enhancing patient satisfaction.
+ Customer Service: Utilize excellent customer service skills to assist patients, address inquiries, and resolve routine issues. Maintain confidential records and manage telephone calls.
+ Data Management: Perform data entry, ensuring accurate patient information and appropriate coding. Utilize databases such as Epic, Calibrio, CRM, Cisco phone system, and Physician database.
+ Reporting: Deliver monthly reports demonstrating service outcomes and performance.
+ Collaboration: Follow up with patients via telephone and correspondence. Collaborate with providers and care teams to ensure comprehensive care.
+ System Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of tests, preps, and procedures for timely scheduling. Understand insurance plans, medical terminology, and financial assistance programs.
+ Outreach: Establish and maintain positive relationships with key customers, including physicians, office staff, and nurses. Assist patients with transportation, financial counseling, and language translation services.
Qualifications:
+ Prior experience in scheduling radiology services (MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, X-rays).
+ Strong customer service skills and ability to navigate patients within the healthcare system.
+ Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with relevant databases (Epic, Calibrio, CRM, Cisco phone system, Physician database).
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of insurance plans, medical terminology, and financial assistance programs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50
