The HTM Imaging department at Texas Health Resources is looking for a top skilled Xray Service Engineer II.  Is that you?

Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave Fort Worth, Texas 76104 

Work hours:  Full Time (40 Hour) Day Shift M-F 7:30-4P with on call expectations

Qualifications - External

Here’s What You Need

Education

H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required And

Associate's degree Associates of Applied Science in Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Information Technology Management, or related field Required Or

Other Successful completion of military BMET training Required

 

Experience

5 Years Servicing diagnostic imaging systems, preferably in hospital setting Required

Hologic equipment with experience is preferred

Basic understanding of MQSA and ACR requirements are preferred

Networking experience preferred

 

Licenses and Certifications

DL - Driver’s License Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record Upon Hire Required And

Other Completion of Networking + Foundation Course 2 Years Required And

IT-ILC - IT Infrastructure Library Certification 2 Years Preferred And

Other Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET), Certified Laboratory Equipment Specialist (CLES), or Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES) Upon Hire Preferred And

Other Specialized formal training certification Upon Hire Preferred

 

Skills

Understanding of network/DICOM and computer hardware. Ability to understand operational procedures, test procedures, and project management. Ability to perform detailed work and multitasking, and the ability to document all work performed according to established policy and procedures. Detailed oriented and have strong organization skills, maintain working relationships and networking with end users of medical devices and vendors.

What You Will Do

Technical Service
Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on complex and intricate imaging equipment
Repair, install, and calibrate complex and intricate imaging equipment


Regulatory Compliance
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the equipment database to include the inventory, performance assurance (PA) schedules, nomenclature, and service history


Account Relationship Management
Build and maintain customer relationships
Discuss equipment status and functionality with clinicians

Inventory
Perform periodic inspections of current inventory status
Verify the completion of security analysis for new customer equipment
Performs Incoming Inspections (II) to maintain a complete and accurate inventory of medical devices, including trial and evaluation, rental, and loaner equipment in addition to permanently assigned equipment inventory.
