Responsibilities:

Recognize and document all pertinent patient care information accurately and promptly. Utilize RIS and PACS systems effectively to ensure accurate data management and departmental efficiency. Communicate any delays in procedures to patients and their families to keep them informed. Obtain high-quality images while adhering to radiation safety standards and patient protocols. Take initiative in personal performance improvement to enhance skills and service quality. Guide and assist patients in changing into gowns to ensure comfort and readiness for imaging. Support Radiologists and Staff Technologists during fluoroscopically guided procedures to ensure smooth operations. Provide individualized care for each patient, tailoring the approach to their specific needs and concerns. Manage image processing efficiently, including both hard copy and digital formats, to maintain quality and accessibility. Facilitate the delivery of images to Radiologists, staff physicians, surgery departments, and patients upon request. Handle patient arrivals, exam tracking, script scanning, and exam scheduling in Imagecast and Rad Assessment. Assist with organizing and performing duties in the reception and file room areas to maintain a well-functioning environment.
