What You Will Do In This Role: · * Shadow and observe licensed Radiology Technologists to gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities. · * Assist in preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and ready for patient use. · * Help position patients for radiographic examinations under the direct supervision of a licensed Radiology Technologist. · * Assist with the maintenance and organization of radiology equipment and supplies. · * Provide basic patient care and comfort, such as answering questions, providing reassurance, and ensuring patient privacy. · * Observe and learn proper radiation safety practices and procedures. · * Participate in educational opportunities, such as attending workshops, seminars, or training sessions, as directed by the supervising Radiology Technologist or department manager. · * Promotes consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service. · * Demonstrates caring and empathy in all interactions and advocates for patient- and family-centered approach in all decisions and actions. · * Demonstrates excellent communication skills, including active listening.
