We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** **What you will do in this role:** + Shadow and observe licensed Radiology Technologists to gain a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities. + Assist in preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean, well-stocked, and ready for patient use. + Help position patients for radiographic examinations under the direct supervision of a licensed Radiology Technologist. + Assist with the maintenance and organization of radiology equipment and supplies. + Provide basic patient care and comfort, such as answering questions, providing reassurance, and ensuring patient privacy. + Observe and learn proper radiation safety practices and procedures. + Participate in educational opportunities, such as attending workshops, seminars, or training sessions, as directed by the supervising Radiology Technologist or department manager. + Promotes consistent, positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service. + Demonstrates caring and empathy in all interactions and advocates for patient- and family-centered approach in all decisions and actions. + Demonstrates excellent communication skills, including active listening.
