Requirements:

Must be a graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology with a full scope of practice or evidence of Radiologic Technology training from United States Military.Minimum 1 experience working as a radiology technologist (preferred)BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (required)Registered with ARRT

Responsibilities:

Responsible for obtaining Radiographic Images of diagnostic quality while adhering to departmental standards and protocolsMaintains a high quality standard of Imaging excellence in all areas of the radiology departmentCollaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomesPrepare examination room, equipment, and instruments per patient needsOperate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfortFollow relevant safety and sanitation guidelinesDocument patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures

***The Radiologic Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include off site diagnostic locations***
