Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Technician I to join our growing team. As a member of our Radiology Diagnostic department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing a variety of imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including but not limited to: X-ray FluoroscopyPrepare patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.Operate and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality control standards.Analyze images for technical quality and identify any potential issues.Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.Adhere to all applicable safety regulations and infection control protocols.Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Qualifications
A minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital/acute care setting or satisfactory completion of a full rotation at Northridge Hospital Radiology department within the last year required.Satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA-approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiological Technology in an AMA-approved school is required.License is required as issued by ARRT (national) CRT (State) and Fluoroscopy certification is required.AHA BLS certification required.LA City Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.
