All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : Monday-Friday 8a - 4:30pm **Location:** 2501 North Orange Ave., Suite 514, Orlando, FL 32804 **The role you’ll contribute:** The Radiology Technologist under the direction of the Office manager/Clinical Supervisor performs radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician. Assists the physician during casting, treatment and examination of the patient. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety. + Uses a gonadal shielding, when possible, for all patients of childbearing age and all pediatric patients. + Develops and processes radiology film. + Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensures that reports and/or films are available for the physician in a timely manner. + Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes routine paperwork. Types and files report as requested. + Maintains darkroom and x-ray room in a clean and orderly manner. Stocks necessary medical and radiology supplies. + Orders x-ray supplies on a routine basis. Rotates film stock. + Verifies correct charges on charge slip for x-rays, treatments and procedures **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications** : + High school graduate or equivalent. + Graduate of a recognized Radiology Technology program + Current, valid State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license + Current, valid American Registry of Radiology Technologist certification + Current, valid CPR certification **Preferred qualifications:** + 1 year of medical office experience preferred + Must be willing to float to other AHMG practices, within reason, when patient load, vacation schedules etc. make it necessary.
