Job Title: Radiology Technician
Job Description

● Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with radiation safety guidelines (ALARA) as low as reasonably achievable. ● Position patients for each anatomical view using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary. ● Accurately process images for optimal quality, demonstrating acceptable film quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and collimation. ● Understand and demonstrate knowledge of using the digitizer for x-ray interpretation. ● Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization. ● Verify that equipment functions properly, requisition for equipment maintenance, repair or replacement; and remove defective equipment. ● Demonstrate the ability to function independently without constant supervision and effectively perform Radiology Technician essential functions. ● Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure medical equipment is working properly. ● Demonstrate knowledge of care and handling of surgical instruments. ● Execute aseptic techniques effectively. ● Exhibit proven communication skills with the ability to convey written and verbal information accurately and effectively.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 20 Week(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Leawood, Kansas.

Work Environment

Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm, open and flexible to all availability per the candidate. Main location: Overland Park off College Boulevard with potential floating to other buildings within Overland Park and satellite offices in Lees Summit. Mileage reimbursement available for locations other than the main Overland Park address. Laid-back environment.
