Location: Overland Park, KS (with potential travel to Lees Summit or Belton)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 4:30pm (flexible availability)

Work Environment: Laid back, supportive, and flexible. Main location is off College Boulevard, with floating duties to nearby buildings and satellite offices. Mileage reimbursement provided for travel beyond the main location.

Job Description:Radiographic Exposure: Adjust equipment for proper radiographic exposure techniques in accordance with ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) radiation safety guidelines.Patient Positioning: Position patients for each anatomical view using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.Image Processing: Accurately process images for optimal quality, ensuring acceptable film quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors, and collimation.Digitizer Use: Demonstrate knowledge and use of the digitizer for x-ray interpretation.Mission Alignment: Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.Equipment Maintenance: Verify equipment functionality, requisition maintenance, repair or replacement, and remove defective equipment.Surgical Instrument Handling: Demonstrate knowledge of care and handling of surgical instruments.Aseptic Techniques: Execute aseptic techniques proficiently.

Skills & Qualifications:Education: High school graduate or equivalent.Certification: Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or licensed in the state of employment. ARRT Certified in Radiologic Technology.Experience: Minimum of one year performing similar essential functions preferred, but new graduates with great references are welcome.License: KS License through KSBHA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $36.00
