Responsibilities:Patient Assessment: Assess, evaluate, and test patients to determine their imaging needs.Imaging Preparation: Prepare patients for various imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.Radiation Protection: Apply and maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation protection to safeguard patients and staff.Imaging Procedures: Perform a range of imaging procedures, including mammograms, x-ray exams, and MRIs.Medical Assistant Duties: During downtime, assist with medical assistant duties such as taking vitals and rooming patients.Essential Skills:Medical Imaging: Proficiency in medical imaging and radiologic technology.ARRT Certification: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).Radiology Expertise: Strong knowledge of radiology, patient charting, and radiation safety.X-ray Proficiency: Skilled in performing x-ray procedures.Top Skills:Medical ImagingRadiologic TechnologyARRT CertificationRadiologyAdditional Skills & Qualifications:EPIC Experience: Experience with EPIC electronic health records is preferred.Fluoroscopy Experience: Experience with fluoroscopy is a plus.CR and DR Experience: Experience with cassette radiology (CR) and digital radiology (DR) is a plus.Work Environment:Join our team and work in a supportive and professional medical environment.
