**Adecco Healthcare and Life Sciences** is partnered with an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Englewood, NJ, seeking a **Certified Radiology Technologist** to join their growing team. If this sounds like you, let's connect! **Position Overview** The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room and participating in preoperative assessments. This includes ensuring equipment is properly calibrated and maintaining logs of all C-arm procedures. **Key Responsibilities** + Perform fluoroscopy (C-arm) procedures in the operating room. + Participate in preoperative patient assessments, including C-arm procedures. + Maintain and document proper calibration and upkeep of equipment. + Support the goals and objectives of the Center, ensuring compliance with approved policies and procedures. + Participate in the quality improvement process and support risk management initiatives. + Ensure effective communication with supervisors, patients, physicians, and co-workers, maintaining a respectful and professional environment. + Maintain professional competence through continuing education and participation in committees and quality improvement activities. + Adhere to safety policies, reporting violations or hazards, and respond competently to emergency situations. + Provide care tailored to different age groups, involving family members in decision-making when appropriate. + Assemble necessary supplies and equipment for procedures and ensure proper shielding before activating the C-arm. + Follow aseptic techniques and manufacturer specifications for C-arm procedures, ensuring proper handling, cleaning, storage, and calibration of equipment. **Qualifications** + **Education** : Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. + **Experience** : 6 months to 1 year of related experience; 2 years of radiology technician experience preferred. + **Certification** : + A.A.R.T certification + BLS (Basic Life Support) certification **Competencies** + Ability to perform essential job functions with professionalism and accuracy. + Strong communication skills, with the ability to interpret verbal orders and convey patient information. + Knowledge of safety policies, radiology procedures, and equipment maintenance.
