The community you’ll be caring for:

The role you’ll contribute:

The Radiology Technologist under the direction of the Office manager/Clinical Supervisor performs radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician. Assists the physician during casting, treatment and examination of the patient.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Maintains current, valid CPR certification and Radiology certificate.

· Prepares patients for radiology procedures. Takes x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.

· Uses a gonadal shielding when possible for all patients of childbearing age and all pediatric patients.

· Develops and processes radiology film.

· Maintains x-ray film files in a neat and orderly fashion. Ensures that reports and/or films are available for the physician in a timely manner.

· Logs radiology procedures completed. Processes routine paper work. Types and files reports as requested.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

· High School graduate or equivalent.

· Graduate of a recognized Radiology Technology program

· Licensed Radiologic Technologist Current, valid State of Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license

· CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist Current, valid American Registry of Radiology Technologists certification

· BCLS - Basic Life Support

Preferred qualifications:

· 1 Year medical office experience preferred
