Schedule: Monday-Friday, Variable Hours, Rotating Day and Evening Shifts, Rotating Weekends

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $5,000

SUMMARY

As a Radiologic Tech I, you assist radiologists with imaging procedures to ensure diagnostic quality and the maximum comfort and safety of patients who undergo procedures.         

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Patient Care - Perform radiography of patients in all assigned areas; maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts; provide on-call coverage for the Diagnostic Section of Radiology; provide excellent patient service.

· General Maintenance - Clean, restock and prepare rooms on a daily basis.

· Documentation - Ensure concise, and complete documentation of patient exams and related procedures, utilizing the RIS/PACS and in-patient charts as necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2 years college certificate or equivalent.

· NYS license in Radiologic Technology required OR must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of hire.

· If licensed after 2007 must obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within 1 year of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Radiologic Technologist experience preferred.

· BLS Certification preferred.
