Job Description:

The Freestanding Urgent Care & Emergency Room is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join the team!

Role & Responsibilities:

Performs radiographic exams as required with general equipment, C-arm, portable and others as needed.Assists in maintaining cleanliness and order in department and procedure rooms.Manipulates computerized image data to obtain interpretive information, filmed images and archiving.Responsible for all records and charting of information related to individual cases.Adheres to dress code and completes all QA requirements.Practices universal precautions and utilizes personal protective equipment.Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician and in accordance with department policy.Performs all radiographic exams as required.Collects patient histories and other related information, coordinating and communicatingwith the surgeons and all others as needed.Assists in other areas of the department as needed.Carries out additional duties as assigned.Keeps track of medication inventory in procedure room for Pain Management and alerts Pharmacy of orders needed each weekKeeps track of inventory for needed supplies such as probes for x-ray machine, etc. and orders as needed each week

Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.Active KBMIRT at time of hire. ARRT within 90 days of hire.CPR certified within 90 days of hire.
