Radiology Technologist (Clinics & Surgery Center) - Day Time Hours

The Radiology Technologist functions independently within the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The technologist performs a wide range of complex diagnostic testing in the subject areas of radiology, quality assurance, and bone densitometry and demonstrates these responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements.

Radiology Technologist Overview

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Prioritizes work to achieve efficient patient outcomesApplies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedureEvaluates imaging results for diagnostic qualityDelivers care as delegated by the RN to assigned patient populations or individual patientDemonstrates the ability to deliver care or service while adjusting approaches to reflect the developmental level of population servedMinimum Qualifications:Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree in Radiation TechnologyCurrent Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology10 months of Radiology experienceUnderstanding of current Minnesota Department of Health Regulations

Location: 909 Fulton St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 

Hours: 1.0 FTE to be split between General and Orthopedic Radiology

10:30am – 7:00pm, Monday – Friday, with shift differential from 5:00pm on
