Radiology Technologist - FREESTANDING ED, Kadlec Regional Medical Center, Kennewick, WA

Under the direct supervision of the FSED Leadership, the ultrasound technologist is responsible for operating and providing high quality sonography and X-ray (if Radiology Technologist certified) to patients in a safe manner for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. Technologists will also be trained on various patient care activities such as performing vital signs, EKGs, wound care, orthopedic splinting and other duties as assigned. Diagnostic Imaging Supervisors will act on behalf of the FSED Nurse Manager to provide oversight of clinical skills, QAs, competencies, etc. Must present self in a professional manner, work well with a multidisciplinary team, have good communication skills, and adhere to KRMC's policies and Vision Statement. Potential for growth into CT Technologist role.

Shift: 0.9 FTE, Full Time, Variable shift, 36 hours

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology.  Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists  Within 60 days of hire Medical Assistant – Registered (hiring facility assists with licensure)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Medical Imaging or Radiologic Science 1 year Experience in Radiology as an ARRT registered technologist.
