The Radiology Technologist will perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures that create images needed for diagnosis.
Exceptional Skills
Provide optimal patient care remaining sensitive to the needs of patients through patient assessment and monitoring. Receive, relay, and document all verbal, written, and electronic orders in the patient’s medical records. Demonstrate proper use and knowledge of all department equipment, positioning devices, patient care items, and patient monitoring devices. Will cross train-to work in clinic as medical assistant, rooming patients, and additional tasks. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and physicians. Ability to work effectively within a team environmentEducation and Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Radiology or completion of certification program in Radiography (required) Licensed by the State of Indiana as a Radiology Technologist and certified as a Radiology Technologist with the ARRT If not licensed and certified upon hire, must obtain within six months of hire
