POSITION DETAILS:

Job Title: Radiology Technologist (X-Ray)

Status: This is a full-time, year-round, benefits eligible; If you're interested in a part-time role, please apply to discuss scheduling options.

Classification: Non-exempt - Hourly 

Location: Vail, Colorado ; some local travel may be required based on business needs 

Schedule: Some flexibility available - typically Monday - Friday ; Zero on-call, weekend or holiday work. 

Pay Range: The entry range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00 / hour ; this position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus


RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST OVERVIEW: 

We are seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions. This is a patient facing role working closely with clinical and administrative professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.

Cross disciplined candidates are also welcome to apply and may be eligible for a higher entry pay range DOE. 


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate x-ray machine to perform routine diagnostic procedures. On the job training available to learn MRI.Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.Operate and maintain imaging equipment.Monitor patients during procedures and report any adverse reactions.Evaluate images for quality and accuracy.Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging procedures.Maintains, clean and disinfects x-ray equipment and office space.Maintain medical and radiologic inventory.Stay up-to-date with advances in imaging technology and techniques.Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of patient privacy rights. Maintains confidentiality of all medical, financial, or other sensitive materials and information in printed, electronic or verbal form which may jeopardize the privacy of patients.Maintain personal commitment to the Steadman Clinic mission and values.Follow policies as established in the Employee Handbook.Attend regular staff meetings and other required meetings.Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminologyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and strong problem-solving skillsCommitment to delivering patient-centered careDemonstrate understanding of procedures, policies and documentation required to ensure compliance with hospital standards of care.
