Rail Logistics Coordinator

Location: Lithia, FL
Contract: 6-month contract with potential for extension. Exceptional candidates may have an opportunity for a permanent role, though this is not guaranteed.

Pay Rate: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with potential for weekend/evening coverage and overtime.
Work Setup: Hybrid (in-office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays)

 

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Rail Logistics Coordinator with a strong logistics background, ideally with expertise in rail operations, supply chains, and logistics. SAP experience is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should be adaptable, collaborative, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities: Create rail nominations in SAP S4 TSW Manage EDI outputs to B2B partners Validate waybill creation with rail partners Troubleshoot rail car load data from loading systems Collaborate with planning and operations teams to allocate orders to loaded rail cars Ideal Candidate Profile: Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills Capable of learning and adapting in a constantly changing environment Logistics and rail industry experience preferred
