Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Railcar Cleaner to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Milling location.
Responsibilities:
Operate the railcar vacuum and air compressor
Disassemble, reassemble, troubleshoot and repair PD railcars and railcar equipment
Work on and around rail tracks safely
Ensure the loadout area is organized and clean at all times
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, while complying with legal regulations
Learn and execute basic equipment maintenance to improve production reliability
Communicate effectively with Loadout Supervisors and maintenance department and assist when required
Qualifications:
Previous experience operating trackmobile and bobcat equipment
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work in conditions with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature extremes
Must be capable of lifting and stacking up to 50 lbs unassisted
Ability to operate hand and power tools
Ability to work from heights with proper use of fall protection devices
Ability to work rotating shifts including evenings and weekends
