ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

Inspect machinery and equipment to determine adjustments or repairs needed.Diagnose mechanical problems in machinery and equipment.Lubricate machinery, equipment, or parts.Document all repairs completed with the use of pen and paper and photography.Consult with managerial and supervisory personnel and maintain open communication.Move or lift heavy objects, as needed and operate equipment in a safe manner.Maintain an up to date work log.Keep track of inventory.Maintain a clean work environment.Ensure all tools necessary to effectively complete the assigned tasks are in working order and use appropriate tools for tasks.Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial setting.Demonstrate or explain assembly or use of equipment.Support bulk loaders and railcar cleaners during downtime and work as an effective team member.Read and comprehend railcar schematics.Complete all assignments in a skilled and timely manner.Wear the appropriate PPE at all times.Perform other duties as assigned
