Job Title: Ramp Agent

Job Description

As a Ramp Agent, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of aircraft ground services. Your duties will primarily focus on fueling aircraft but may also include assisting with aircraft maintenance, cleaning, equipment operation, and support for other departments.

ResponsibilitiesFuel Aircraft: Safely operate fuel trucks and refuel aircraft per safety protocols.Aircraft Servicing: Refill oil, wash aircraft, and conduct pre-flight checks.Maintenance Support: Assist A&P mechanics with basic repairs and shop upkeep.Hangar Organization: Keep the workspace clean and tools properly stored.Equipment Operation: Drive fuel trucks, tugs, and other ground vehicles.Team Collaboration: Support ramp operations, baggage handling, and customer service.Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.

RequirementsExperience in ramp operations, cargo handling, or fueling.Able to lift heavy objects and climb a 12-foot ladder multiple times daily.Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.Willing to work weekends and flexible hours.Interest in aircraft maintenance with potential for career growth.Strong leadership and organizational skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Work Environment

You will work in a hangar with 50 planes on site, primarily outdoors. The team consists of 5 members. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, closed-toed shoes, t-shirt or jacket, and beanies during cold weather. The shift is from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday to Friday, with some required weekend work (possible OT). The culture is laid-back but emphasizes accuracy and safety in job performance.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $27.00
