Ramp Supervisors lead the day to day operations of the terminal staff while focusing on safety, performance & productivity.

Responsibilities

Ramp Supervisor

Manages the movement of ramp crewsMeets customer’s scheduling requirements, both Inbound (ETN) & Outbound/ReleaseChecks and verifies numbers on all inbound/outbound trainsIdentifies situations that require problem solving to achieve efficient flow within the terminalEnforces and upholds all ConGlobal rules, regulations and policiesApproaches safety violations with care and provides on the spot coachingEnsures interactions with terminal staff increase engagement and retentionPerforms safety audits & observationsLeads OJT to ensure every employee possess the necessary knowledge, skills & abilitiesOther duties as assigned (administrative & non-administrative)

Requirements

Previous transportation and supervisory experience preferredAbility to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skillsExcellent communication skills are mandatoryProficient in Outlook and MS Office suite of productsStrong Work EthicOpen availability required, 3 days on 3 days off 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights.Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
