We are seeking a Railyard Train Supervisor that will be responsible for leading the day to day operations of the terminal staff while focusing on safety, performance & productivity.
Responsibilities Manages the movement of ramp crewsMeets customer’s scheduling requirements, both Inbound (ETN) & Outbound/ReleaseChecks and verifies numbers on all inbound/outbound trainsIdentifies situations that require problem solving to achieve efficient flow within the terminalEnforces and upholds all ConGlobal rules, regulations and policiesApproaches safety violations with care and provides on the spot coachingEnsures interactions with terminal staff increase engagement and retentionPerforms safety audits & observationsLeads OJT to ensure every employee possess the necessary knowledge, skills & abilitiesOther duties as assigned (administrative & non-administrative)What We offer:

Qualifications Previous transportation and supervisory experience preferredAbility to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skillsExcellent communication skills are mandatoryStrong Work EthicWillingness to work in varying weather conditions.Proficiency in typing, mathematical knowledge, organization, and time management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, PowerPoint, and Excel) skills.Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screeningThe Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations.
