KBR is seeking a Range Services Manager (RSM) to lead a Range Operations Contract (ROC) project team that provide various technical launch services supporting Sounding Rocket missions from WFF, Norway, Alaska and other locations. The RSM oversees requirements review and analysis, project support planning and scheduling, project costs and variances, project risks, project design and test, project execution, and project closeout for launch services provided by the ROC. The RSM will manage and direct engineering/operations on multiple launch missions, providing necessary project management and leadership to assure technical, cost, and schedule deliverables are met.
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience or 8 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
Technical Skills:
· Systems Engineering per NASA standards
· Integration and Testing per NASA standards
· Support complex and/or technologically challenging tasks including the leadership in generating the Task Plan and Cost Proposal
· Develops, maintains, and reports technical performance metrics effectively measuring the level of performance in execution of launch missions.
Managerial Skills:
· Primary liaison with government project manager of the mission
· Project lead for providing range support to assigned launch missions for full mission lifecycle - Concept to Sunset phases.
· Directs performance of project activities and manages the various technical, engineering, and organizational interfaces, cost, scope and schedule procurement and timelines; manage requirements, compliance and risks; collect and document lessons learned
· Responsible for developing the Project Charter, project plans and documentation, schedules, and presentation materials for formal reviews.
· Chairs all project meetings, develops the agenda, and distributes minutes as appropriate.
· Reports project status to the stakeholders as appropriate.
· Ensuring operational support to customers, providing technical consultation advice to Task Leads regarding design issues, development and test approaches, and test result assessments

Desired Skills
· Experience in launch, aerospace or space range operations.
· Fundamental knowledge of telemetry principles, data acquisition, Radar, Command antenna systems a plus
