Ranger II

LCRA is looking for a Ranger II to join our team. As part of our Public Safety team, your expertise will contribute to protecting the people, assets, and interests of LCRA and the natural resources of Texas. Our Rangers focus on providing patrol, detection, and crime prevention of LCRA lands, waters, and facilities.

You will be trusted to:

- Provide emergency response services
- Respond to dispatched calls
- Perform assignments to protect life and property.
- Enforce federal, state, and local laws, as well as LCRA rules and regulations.

You qualify with:

- Must be eligible to immediately obtain and then maintain Basic TCOLE Peace Officer license
- Two or more years of experience in public safety and/or law enforcement or other relevant experience
- Driver’s license
- Successful completion of relevant fitness for duty examinations
- Must pass the CJIS fingerprint-based background investigation according to the State of Texas standards
- Must remain current with all CJIS training requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain National Incident Management System (NIMS) certifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) certification
