Work Location: Batam, Kepulauan Riau
Travel Requirement: Yes, 75% is required as part of role duties. Travel to RIOP facilities to lead and/or support execution of RIW type activities will be a significant portion of the role. When not traveling to other RIOP facilities to support network projects, this role will be focused on continuous improvement projects at their home facility.
You will work in both office and shopfloor manufacturing environments.
Domestic relocation is available for this position.

What You Will Do:
Identifying, replicating and continual improvement of the operating methods, equipment, systems and other operating infrastructure used to realize operating goals and objectives.
Providing hands-on expertise to RIOP facilities in the implementation of continuous improvement projects.
Providing coaching and development for operations technical staff and support areas.
Leads root cause analysis to identify and address recurring problems.
What Skills You Have:
Manufacturing Safety: Knowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to identify work-related hazards and perform necessary activities to meet regulatory requirements for the safety and protection of workers, environment and site.
Decision Making: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Manufacturing Equipment: Knowledge of the electrical, mechanical and logistics equipment used in manufacturing; ability to safely operate, maintain, update and store them.
Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of existing product manufacturing methods, technologies and processes; ability to execute, plan, manage and monitor the entire manufacturing process.
Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies: Knowledge of organizational standards, procedures and policies in manufacturing activities; ability to plan, guide, and monitor manufacturing processes for compliance.
Problem Management Process: Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
What Will Set You Apart:
Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is essential.
Project Management: Demonstrated expertise in managing projects effectively.
Educational Background: Engineering Degree or equivalent experience desired. Degree or certification in automation/automation integration, ergonomics, crane/lifting practices, industrial safety also considered.
Physical Requirements (With or Without Reasonable Accommodation):
This job requires extensive active movement throughout the plant including climbing stairs and steps, lifting devices, and pushing and pulling equipment.
