Summary:

The Rates and Terms Specialist performs a variety of duties relative to the timely and accurate entry and maintenance of financing plans.  This individual must be proficient in the use of the integrated online systems including entry, matching, inquire screens, and additional functions provided by system upgrades.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Creation and identification of financial plans within online system for manufacturers, tied to dealers to ensure customers invoices are correctly financedCritically analyze distributor program documents to ensure proper building of complete financial plansIndependently work a queue to ensure all Plan Tie Requests are completed in a timely matter dailyAnalyze requests coming from Invoice Processing to identify the distributor/dealer quickly and correctly to correctly identify the correct financial planGain a high-level understanding of how interest terms work and impact the outcome of Invoices purchased with various financial plansAccurately build payment schedulesWork within a team to make sure all team objectives and completed on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent1 year experience in a business environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to effectively completely multiple tasks with accuracyBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Compensation Range:

$20.00 - 40.00 Hourly

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
