Summary:
The Rates and Terms Supervisor will supervise a team that performs duties for the timely and accurate analysis, design, and entry of OEM, Distributor, Buying Group, and Dealer financing plans. This role will utilize the integrated online system for screen entry, matching, and inquiry. The Rates and Terms Supervisor researches and reconciles billing and financial plan issues and actively participates in weekly/monthly reporting as well as assists with department training.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Review and validate plan/program set ups completed by Rates and Terms Administrators and Specialists for accuracy and precision.Monitor the Rates and Terms workflow and Rates and Terms general mailbox to ensure that service level agreements are met. Monitor Rates and Terms Administrators and Specialists daily workflow activity, offering training and assistance where needed.Perform all daily tasks to completion and process all types of plan/program analysis, including setup and maintenance for OEMs, Distributors, Buying Groups and Dealers in a timely and accurate manner. Validate that properly executed documentation has been received and all compliance needs met.Document and report all plan issues to the appropriate parties for immediate resolution. Follow up on any outstanding plan/billing issues to ensure that they are resolved in a timely and accurate manner.Provide necessary responses to questions and requests from other areas of the company. Collaborate on various initiatives such as quarterly and annual employee reviews, internal and external audit efforts, large manufacturer requests, staffing issues and/or requirements.Continually update Rates and Terms department with upcoming programs.Recommend and implement new ways for the department to complete work more efficiently.Perform supervisory functions, including making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals, and coaching and developing staff.Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in business or equivalent education and experience2 - 5 years of previous supervision experienceRelated copy/mail/clerical experiencePreferred Qualifications:
