Join our dynamic Rates Trading Business Management team as a Vice President, where you'll partner with the head of North America Rates and desk heads to implement strategic projects and address daily business challenges. As a Vice President in the Rates Trading Business Management team, you will play a pivotal role in executing strategic projects and addressing day-to-day business issues. You will collaborate with functional groups and external stakeholders to drive business forward, proactively identify risks, and develop innovative solutions. Your role involves managing regulatory and control agendas and leveraging analytical skills to support the franchise.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute key strategic projects and address day-to-day business issues. Drive initiatives across finance, risk, legal, compliance, and operations. Foster relationships with external stakeholders to advance the business. Proactively identify risks and develop innovative solutions. Represent the business and ensure action items are executed. Lead and implement new business initiatives (NBIA's). Manage regulatory and control agendas. Leverage analytical skills to drive improvements and support the franchise.Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
5 years of proven experience in a similar role with strategic project implementation. Ability to build consensus and work collaboratively with diverse teams. Excellent analytical and communication skills. Broad understanding of Global Fixed Income instruments and structured products. Ability to multitask and re-prioritize rapidly as business needs change. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Business Intelligence/Visualization tools. Ability to articulate complex topics to senior stakeholders. Strong project management skills with a focus on structure, process, and delivery. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial industry.Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
Experience in technology, product management, or quantitative risk. Proactive leader with a strong interest in fixed income.
