Raw Material Buyer – Steel & Steel blanks is responsible for managing over $1 Billion spend annually in NA. The purchasing responsibilities include sourcing on time and to target, development and implementation of global commodity strategies, supplier negotiations, driving annual cost savings activities, supplier relationship management, and leading the resolution of commercial issues. The selected candidate will interact with many cross-functional teams including Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Vehicle Platform teams and Program Management. This commodity group is highly strategic with a global supply base. Focus on Steel Service Centers (MX & USA)

Basic

 +5 Years of experience in Purchasing focus on raw materials Chemical, Mechanical, Electronical, Mechatronics Engineer Automotive Purchasing experience Experience working with SA  Excel expert Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

Previous automotive related and/or global commodity experience specific to metals or stampings Fluent in French
