Job Title: Raw Materials Chemist
Hours: Mon-Friday (Flexible start time of 6am-9am) 8 hour shift.
Job Description:
As a Raw Materials Chemist, you will conduct chemical analysis on raw materials, finished products, and stability samples. Your duties will include assay, quantification of materials, documentation of results, and general laboratory housekeeping.Responsibilities:
Conduct chemical analysis on APIs per USP-NF, including full monograph testing for assay and impurities.Perform various chemical analyses using techniques such as HPLC, GC, and manual titration.Follow all procedures related to data documentation, laboratory safety, and good laboratory practices.Review test data, calculations, and results for accuracy and completeness.Essential Skills
Proficiency in Chemistry, Laboratory practices, GMP, and Wet Chemistry.Expertise in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical practices, and USP Monograph testing.Experience with HPLC, GC, and API stability testing.Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.Work Environment:
You will be part of the QC Chemistry/Analytical team, specifically on a sub-team focused on raw materials, working with alcohol and pharma products like Ibuprofen and Excedrin. The lab is a beautiful, new, 72,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with all new instrumentation and ample space. The team consists of 20-23 people, with significant growth and opportunities, including bringing in method development, leachables, and extractables in-house.The lab has experienced 3x growth since 2022, with numerous new products like Advil and hospital wipes being introduced.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00
