Raw Materials Team Lead
Job Description SummaryResponsible for the operation of a section within the Raw Materials Warehouse function, supporting the team with the day-to-day operation of the warehouse including:
Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production schedules
Train new Warehouse operatives within area of responsibility
Ensure inventories in area of responsibility are accurate
Ensure product movements are recorded accurately and that any SAP transactions are accurate and up to date
Ensures the warehouse operation is conducted in accordance with approved procedures, properly documented and in compliance with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, GMP, Safety, DOT, Security and other company rules and regulations. Immediately notifies the supervisor about any situation that may impact the warehouse operation. Ensure proper warehouse housekeeping.
Drive the Warehouse team to seek for continuous improvements.
Control movement of materials to and from the outside leased storage area to ensure most efficient use of this space.
Responsible for the protection and maintenance of all equipment such as plant vehicles, lift trucks and facilities under their control in accordance with company procedures and regulations. Ensures associates are properly trained before using the equipment. Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment and avoiding time lost due to accidents.
Contributes to the quality of the company and its products through active participation in and cooperation with quality related projects and programs. Brings to the attention of Management areas needing quality improvement and works towards the goal of resolving any quality related issues.
Assists area management on creating and/or updating documentation such as SOP and forms.
Work under general supervision

Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Training on computerized systems (SAP, Microsoft Office).
Bilingual (English / Spanish).
3 - 5 year warehousing/distribution operation experience in Medical device and/or Pharmaceutical environment.
Interpersonal and leadership skills.
Flexible to adapt, initiative, teamwork oriented and promotes a continued improvement environment.
Lift Truck operation certification.

5th Shift: Saturday and Sunday 6pm - 6am, Thursday and Friday 10pm - 6am
