Main responsibilities
• Follow safe practices and rules.
• Follow GMPs and ensure drivers and anyone in the raw receiving bay are compliant.
• Receive fluid products (Raw milk, Condensed, OJ and Cream).
• Load-out fluid skim and cream.
• CIP trailers, tanks, and lines
• Always keep the work area clean and neat.
• Follows SOPs.
• Keep proper Safety Chain records of sanitation and Process Control Sheet documentation.
• Clean and Sanitize equipment in compliance with SSOP’s and Safeway’s QA department.
• Comply with all 6S and HACCP requirements.
• Train new employees.
• Any other job as designated by the Foreman or Supervisor
What we are searching for.
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Good oral and written communication skills, good computer skills.
• Must be able to continuously stand, walk, flex, stretch, twist, and move throughout the area for 8 to 12 hours.
• Math skills; able to read and understand instructions.
• Must be able to monitor and inspect inventory and reconcile receipt.
• Must be able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices preferred.
• High school diploma preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts as required.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Speak, write, and understand English.
