What is the opportunity?
The Intermediaries department is seeking a Head of Nationals and Networks and International Distribution. The successful candidate will work with key Group functions (e.g. Legal, Compliance, Ireland and Jersey Offices & Intermediaries office) to develop a robust governance framework for the management of relationships with key accounts and international adviser firms.
What will you do?
Build strong internal relationships with all stakeholders to create an open environment for good communication.
Maintain an awareness of market conditions and be flexible and able to adapt to business and regulatory changes.
Assist in the development of new propositions, working closely with colleagues across the group, especially for the international market, including local jurisdictions such as Ireland and Jersey.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with the key accounts, be the main contact for C-Suite or equivalent management teams on behalf of Brewin. Also help produce sustainable, profitable business inflows and an ongoing working relationship that seeks opportunity and challenges the status quo.
Cooperate with the Business Development Team, work closely with Head of Sales and their Senior management team. Share ideas and best practice to support BDM involvement with the firms.
Work closely with Marketing and BD team to develop, deliver, and maintain collateral, advertorial etc.
Work with Head of Intermediaries and Head of Intermediary Sales to develop a robust and sustainable international proposition for the group, including Ireland and Jersey.
Provide representation on Group forums, committees, where required.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Level 4 qualified in relevant qualification e.g. CISI, CII or equivalent.
Proven experience within a similar role and current working relationships with key partners in the market
Strong market knowledge of the International Intermediary market.
Working knowledge of the UK intermediary market
Nice-to-have
Working towards Level 6 qualification e.g. CISI, CII or equivalent
