What is the opportunity?

The Intermediary AML Connections Analyst reports to and supports the Head of First Line Due Diligence to meet all required targets. You will be responsible for updating the Intermediary connections in Client Engage and will be expected to support the coordination and management of periodic review risk assessments to be carried out.

The successful candidate will support their manager and work closely with the Client Support Services team and the 2nd line to detect and prevent emerging KYC client related risks in RBC BD. You will analyse data on firms with 0 FuM, draft letters to give notice to Intermediary firms and track offboarding as well as report on change of FCA permissions and manage orphan clients.

You will also be expected to partner with Second line teams to embed and support quality assurance (QA) and to comply with regulatory and compliance standards.

What will you do?

Analyse data on firms with 0 FuM.

Draft and create letters to give notice to Intermediary firms and track offboarding.

Report on change of FCA permissions and manage orphan clients.

Responsible for overseeing Intermediary AML dashboards.

Ensure adherence to Client Due Diligence (CDD) standards by developing & maintaining suitable KRIs, in partnership with 2LoD.

Accountable for Intermediary business achieving AML KRIs.

Manage pipeline of upcoming periodic reviews in conjunction with CSS team.

Partner with BDMs to address client queries and oversee client outreach.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

Proven experience within the financial services sector, ideally within a wealth management environment.

Attention to detail and can maintain accuracy throughout their work.

Nice-to-have

The following experience would be advantageous and desired but not essential; Onboarding, Enhanced Due Diligence, Screening, Sanctions, PEP and Adverse Media, Transactional Monitoring, offboarding / client exits.
