JLL is seeking an RCM SME, Reliability Engineering to join our team!

Acting as a technical subject matter expert you will be supported in achieving external qualifications and becoming globally recognized in RAM.

This exciting opportunity is responsible for providing reliability engineering support for solutions development, training, and fostering a Community of Practice for Reliability and Asset Management across JLL. The purpose of this role is to oversee development of solution proposals and training for Reliability and Asset Management implementations of robust processes and programs in determining reliability of assets, components, equipment, and processes in accordance with JLL’s enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program.

Position Responsibility of ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Recognizes that assignments are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity to complete them and considerable latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions.

The RCM SME, Reliability Engineering will be responsible for assisting in developing Reliability and Asset Management program solutions development, value demonstration, training related to Reliability and Asset Management topics, and lead the Community of Practice for our dedicated on-account Reliability Engineers.  This individual will provide thought leadership, align with clients on strategic asset management direction, value demonstrate our programmatic implementation focused on maximizing asset value, develop a strong use case library, and support new business pursuits.

Support new business development.Sets client’s strategic direction relative to Reliability and Asset Management objectives.Analyzes data from CMMS, BAS, Maintenance Program, and Capital Planning to develop life-cycle analyses and recommendations for Reliability Engineering and Asset Management.Responsible for overseeing operations and activities or the Reliability Engineering and Asset Management Community of Practice.Provides training in Reliability Engineering and Asset Management best practices to ensure best in class deployment and on-account performance related to the delivery of our Reliability & Asset Management solutions.Anticipates and leads issue resolution.Assists leadership team in the selection of action plans that best meets business objectives.Develops value creation use cases with Knowledge Management to build a library.Drives a culture of creative innovation.Estimated 25% travel, position could require 50% travel at times.

Must be able to provide subject matter expertise in the following areas:

Asset Management

Under general direction of Engineering Services Reliability & Asset Management platform, creates and deploys client’s strategic asset management plans. Assist clients in the development and executions of Strategic Asset Management Plans (SAMPs)

Reliability Engineering

Ensures that assets under care have the undergone the necessary risk analysis using Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches, and for defining the proactive maintenance approaches that are cost-beneficial to the business.Equipment preventative maintenance (PM) task creation and management for continuous improvement and PM optimization.Investigate new technologies for reliability improvements.Facilitates/supports operational event and equipment failure investigations to ensure that the root cause/causal factors have been identified, corrective actions prescribed, and follow-up monitoring conducted as applicable, to determine effectiveness.

Workflow Management

Ensures that the appropriate Maintenance and Reliability metrics are in place for sites, (planned/unplanned work, planning/scheduling metrics, cost metrics, MTBF, replacement asset value, etc.).Ensures that records/plans within computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) related to equipment, such as specification data, BOM, failure history, etc, are complete and accurate.

Capital Asset Renewal/Capital Planning

Supports the execution of capital planning and lifecycle asset management programs as well as commissioning activities for all upgrade, renovation, and construction projects which may include, but is not limited to, PM job plans, reviews for maintainability, critical spares, documentation, etc.

Maintenance Planning

Oversees development and implementation of processes to update asset records in the CMMS as required, including entering new equipment, inactivating retired equipment, and labeling equipment in the field with asset tags.Ensures that all job plans written in the CMMS include the necessary detailed instructions with pictures, parts, labor, craft, vendors, regulatory, and safety requirements.Oversees review work order feedback information to improve future planning efforts. 

Condition-based Maintenance

Experience w/ predictive maintenance technologies including, but not limited to, vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared Thermography, ultrasound, and motor current analysis.Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Equipment Criticality Ranking, PM/PdM optimization, Defect Elimination, and/or Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.The understanding of moving and rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, etc., from an operations and maintenance perspective, mechanically and electrically.

Performs other work as assigned.

Experience:

BS in an Engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical preferred. 10 years’ plus experience implementing RCM, CbM/PdM methods, operating building automation and energy management systems, and thorough understanding of asset management, data analytics, and capital planning approaches.Experience in critical environments preferred (data centers, laboratories, manufacturing environments, etc.) Extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems.Extensive knowledge of commercial, critical, manufacturing, labs, or distribution facility types required.Experience in delivering training, coaching and mentoring using a variety of tools and techniquesExperience working with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systemsExperience in Business analysis and/or Asset Management and/or analyzing riskPractical experience developing and optimization of maintenance strategies and plansExperience implementing and/or working with Management Systems i.e. (ISO9001, ISO55001)Asset whole lifecycle costing and total cost of ownership

Experience of multi-disciplinary projects and the application of system integration techniques across multiple type of assets

Certifications & Licenses: 

Certified Reliability Leader or Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is required.Certification training in Condition based/Predictive technologies is preferred.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

120,000.00 – 140,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
