**Overview**
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled AP Essentials Technical Expert for the technical implementation,
customization, and support of our AP automation processes. In this role, you will work closely
with finance and IT teams to ensure the seamless Implementation, rollout and support of AP
Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) and drive efficiency through innovative automation
solutions. You will provide technical expertise in the integration, configuration, and optimization
of AP automation systems to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
AP Essentials Expertise:
Act as the subject matter expert for AP Essentials, responsible for its deployment,
configuration, and optimization.
Provide detailed technical input on how AP Essentials can be configured to meet specific
business requirements and workflows.
Stay up to date with product updates, releases, and industry best practices to recommend
improvements and innovations.
System Integration:
Lead the integration of AP Essentials with SAP system
Develop and maintain custom scripts and workflows to enhance system functionality and meet
organizational needs.
Ensure that AP Essentials integrates smoothly with existing systems, including document
management, OCR, and other automation tools.
Technical Troubleshooting & Support:
Provide high-level technical support and troubleshooting for AP Essentials-related issues.
Work closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to diagnose, resolve, and prevent
issues in the AP automation system.
Manage system upgrades, patches, and performance optimizations to ensure consistent
availability and high performance.
Process Optimization:
Analyze current AP processes and recommend opportunities for process improvements through
automation.
Implement and test new features, tools, or integrations to optimize invoice capture, approvals,
and payment processes.
Monitor the performance and utilization of AP Essentials and make data-driven
recommendations to improve efficiency and scalability.
Training & Documentation:
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for configurations, integrations,
workflows, and system usage.
Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal IT teams, AP staff, and key stakeholders on
AP Essentials functionalities and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent
professional experience.
Experience:
6+ years of hands-on experience working with AP Essentials (formerly ReadSoft Online) or
similar AP automation solutions.
Experience integrating AP automation tools with ERP systems preferably SAP.
Strong understanding of AP processes and automation technologies, including OCR and
document management.
Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of AP Essentials configuration, scripting, and workflows.
Proficiency in relevant programming languages such as Python, SQL, or PowerShell.
Experience working with APIs, web services, and data integration.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and experience with database
management systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both technical and
non-technical teams.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in AP automation tools or ERP platforms.
Familiarity with finance systems and payment processing platforms.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools
