**Job Title: Reach Forklift Operator** **Job Description** This indoor position involves operating a stand-up reach forklift, picking orders, and using pallet jacks to move pallets while picking orders. You will be responsible for picking orders by hand, breaking down pallets and boxes to create orders, using a computer and RF scanner, and preparing paperwork for shipments. You will need to accurately pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound freight to ensure warehouse goals are met while maintaining strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols. Additional responsibilities include performing daily pre-inspections of forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, reporting unsafe work conditions, stock replenishment, and receiving and locating products using RF technology. **Hard Skills** + Certified on reach forklift + 1+ year of reach forklift experience + Experience with RF scanners **Soft Skills** + Ability to work with minimal supervision + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment + Proficient in meeting productivity, quality, and safety targets **Job Type** This is a contract position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Abbotsford, British Columbia. **Work Environment** The role is non-union and involves ongoing physical activities. You must be able to stay on your feet for long periods and be prepared to work in varying conditions, including some outdoor tasks. The position requires adherence to a dress code of steel-toe work boots (STWB) and personal gear for outdoor work if desired. The shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with a starting wage of $24.94/hr, increasing to $27.11 after 6 months and $29.28 after 2 years.
