Reach Truck Operator
**REACH TRUCK OPERATOR - KENNESAW, GA** The **Reach Truck Operator** is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and managing inventory. This role involves monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and ensuring inventory levels meet the demands according to Work Orders. **Reach Truck Operator** plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. **Location:** Kennesaw, GA **Schedule:** Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm **Pay:** $18-$20 per hour, based on experience **Position Type:** Temp to hire **Key Responsibilities** + Receives and Stocks Inbound Freight + Inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damages, and report any issues to the Warehouse Manager. + Mark items using identification tags or other labeling methods. + Store materials in the warehouse in an orderly and accessible manner. + Processes Outgoing Materials and Monitors Inventory + Regularly check inventory to ensure availability of necessary parts and report shortages to the Warehouse Manager. + Pick and package parts, equipment, and materials for outbound shipments. + Verify packing documents for accuracy before shipment. + Use equipment like forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks to move or consolidate inventory. + Maintains a Safe Working Environment + Keep the warehouse clean and organized, free of debris. + Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). + Adhere to all safety guidelines and equipment operating procedures. + Perform other duties as assigned by management. **Key Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Forklift operator experience. + Knowledge and Skills + Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy. + Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining an individual workload. + Effective multitasking and time-management skills. + Organizational skills to manage and prioritize multiple tasks. + Ability to respond quickly to customer inquiries or requests. **Physical Requirements / Working Environment** + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to walk, stand, crouch, bend, kneel, lift, and reach in tight spaces. + Compliance with OSHA safety standards. + Ability to safely load and unload trucks. + Must become forklift certified within the first six months of hire. **What's Next?** If you believe you are a great match for this role, we want to hear from you!
