**Aerotek's client is looking Reach Truck Operator in the Upper Marlboro, MD area to join their team.** The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to adhere to safety and operational guidelines while ensuring that the right materials are delivered to the appropriate locations in a timely manner. **Responsibilities** + Safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials. + Ensure accurate storage of materials, track inventory levels, and perform routine stock checks. + Accurately pick and deliver products as per order requests. + Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Perform pre-operation inspections and report any maintenance issues. + Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, and complete all required paperwork promptly. + Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations. + Assist in other warehouse duties as required, including packing, labeling, and general housekeeping. **Essential Skills** + Previous experience as a Reach Truck Operator or in a similar role in a warehouse setting. + Valid reach truck operating license/certification. + Ability to lift and move heavy items, stand, walk, and operate equipment for extended periods. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. + Good communication and teamwork skills. + Basic math and reading skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS). + Familiarity with RF scanners and barcode technology. + Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse environment. **Why Work Here?** + Excellent room for growth and development. The warehouse is separated into sections by racks, including a wire room section, and is kept very clean. + Employees are required to clean their workspaces and help maintain organization.
