The Opportunity:
The Readiness Training Integrator (RTI) support shall be based at the United States Air Force Academy in coordination with AETC/A3X as it relates to Ready Airman Training requirements and equipment with emphasis on counter threat including explosive ordnance hazards (EOH)/Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (C-UAS). The Readiness Training Integrator (RTI) must be familiar with Combatant Command theater entry requirements and Ready Airman Training requirements. The RTI will use experience and expertise to integrate counter threat training into existing readiness training at their location and be prepared to instruct when requested. Examples of training include but are not limited to land navigation, use and wear of body armor, C-IED/C-UAS, fieldcraft tactics and procedures. The Junior RTI will Identify visual Indicators of an explosive device; react to an IED; understand methods of IED emplacement, UXO/PAR sweeps, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) and perform a nine-line unexploded ordnance report.
Responsibilities:
Shall provide technical support, planning, consultation, analysis, A3X Readiness Training advice, and execution to establish, integrate, maintain, improve, and disseminate readiness training related information.
Shall assist cadre during the instruction of student personnel at training locations on concepts, TTPs as they relate to readiness training with emphasis on EOH/C-UAS, i.e., indicators, IED 9-Line, 5 Cs, operation of CREW Systems, hand held detection and 5/25/200m drills.
Shall assist in the recovery and maintenance of EOH/C-IED lanes and conduct maintenance and inventory of readiness training devices and equipment. Each location shall maintain an inventory of all readiness training aids and report any damage that would affect readiness training at their location.
Shall research readiness training TTPs, Lessons Learned and Doctrinal publications to assist training cadre with employment of such information as it relates to readiness training.
Shall provide directional guidance, counseling, and assistance to cadre, Opposing Force (OPFOR), Red Team, or Civilians on the Battlefield (COB) personnel that participate in the readiness training experience. This individual shall be capable of modifying existing scenarios as training requirements change or shortfalls are identified.
Shall maintain contact with other RTIs at other training venues and AETC/A3X. The RTI support shall establish partnerships that instill open sharing of information between locations, maintain situational awareness on deployment locations of Unit Type Codes (UTCs), and ensure emerging TTPs are supported as they relate to readiness activities.
Shall ensure training venues incorporate applicable training equipment items, handheld detection equipment, blast simulators, training aids and other related readiness equipment, as required.
Shall assist in providing an in-depth assessment of unit and individual performances and provide feedback to the unit using the After-Action Review (AAR) process, or other observation and feedback process as required.
Qualifications:
Required:
BA/BS or seven years equivalent experience.
Will have a minimum of six years of experience as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician. - Must be a graduate of the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) course held at Indian Head, Maryland or Eglin AFB, FL.
Will have working knowledge of USAF readiness training requirements to
Current Secret (NATO) U.S. Government security clearance or ability to acquire the clearance.

Ability to serve on teams with demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills and strong attention to detail skills.
Served as an in-residence and/or online instructor.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
