 Responsibilities:Safely operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.Work closely with production to ensure product is taken to and from production in a timely mannerCounts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying informationParticipates in routing, counting and inspecting itemsDocuments all informationKeep assigned work area clean and organizedResponsible for all product and material within assigned work area - this includes, but not limited to, inventory levels, product location, warehousing and proper product rotation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Skilled in operating a forklift or other material handling equipmentKnowledge of Safety practicesExcellent Attendance RecordKnowledge of record-keeping practices and inventory practicesMust be able to stand for 8 hours a dayMust be able to lift, carry, push or pull (up to and including 50 pounds or more) Must be able to reach overhead (up to and including 25 pounds)Willingness to become Forklift Certified

Education and Experience:

Prior Forklift experience preferredAbility to read, write and speak English preferred
