What you will be doing 

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our Real Estate team and contribute to the development, deployment, and management of data solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database technologies, ETL processes, and big data tools such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Alteryx. Responsibilities include designing and constructing data architectures, pipelines, and data sets to meet business needs, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility, and collaborating with team members on project goals. 

The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, or one of our main regional offices Pleasanton CA, Phoenix AZ. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Design, develop and maintain robust ETL processes to support data integration from various sources  Manage and optimize databases on SQL server, ensuring data integrity and security  Develop, deploy, and maintain Alteryx workflows for data preparation, blending and analytics  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate into data solutions to support advanced analytics  Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies.  Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards.

The salary range is $82,900.00 to $107,680.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. 

Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).   

 

What we are searching for  

We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience: 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field  2+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role  Proficiency in SQL Server, including complex query writing, database design, and performance optimization  Knowledge of Python and/or R  Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services, such as Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow) and Alteryx (Designer, Server)  Solid understanding of data governance and security  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail  Strong communication and collaboration skills
