Business Description:

The Real Estate Finance & Analytics team is looking for a VP to support the Global Blackstone Real Estate Opportunistic Platform (“BREP”). The core focus of the group is to evaluate, analyze, and summarize portfolio investment valuation results for BREP. In addition to valuations, the team is responsible for performance and attribution reporting for internal and external purposes, as well as the forecasting and planning for investments across active funds. The team is also called upon to handle a variety of ad hoc and recurring analyses related to fundraising, reporting, and global investor relations.

Job Description:

The BREP Real Estate (“RE”) Finance Group performs analyses and financial reporting of RE results and strategic business initiatives.

Engage directly with various teams including, Asset Management, Portfolio Management, Deal Professionals and Global Accounting teams in preparing quarterly reporting, analyzing performance, etc.Manage the production of FP&A forecasts, facilitate senior team reviews and coordinate the submissions for the global opportunistic real estate businessDrive strategic automation projects and assist in enhancing the group’s reporting processes, procedures and analyticsReview / calculate fund level key performance metrics as well as sensitives (i.e. IRRs, track records)Coordinate consolidation of various reporting across the global platformReview / prepare presentations and memorandums for senior managementAid in the preparation of RE strategic plans and business analysisSupport Blackstone’s Corporate Finance and Investor Relations teams during the quarterly earnings process as well as on an ad hoc basis in dealing with clients and investorsInvolvement with Blackstone SEC financial reporting – preparing and reviewing deliverables for quarterly filingsPerform ad hoc analyses to assess the impact of material market events on the portfolio (e.g. regulatory changes, macro events, etc.).Manage and mentor junior staff

Qualifications:

Expected annual base salary range:

$175,000 - $225,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
