Real Estate Finance Co-op - 2025

The Real Estate Finance Co-op will be a full-time (40 hours/week) opportunity for 12 weeks from May to August. Following that 12-week opportunity, we would like a candidate who can support on a weekly, full time basis through the year. As part of the COOP internship program, students will gain additional skills to prepare them for entering the job market, including interviewing, presentations, and performance evaluation to further enhance their experience. 

The tasks assigned will be at a level consistent with assignments given to four-year college graduates. The internship will conclude with a presentation on the project and summer experience to the LCS leadership team.  In addition, the intern will obtain an overall understanding and exposure to other teams and jobs at LCS.

The Role: 

As part of the LCS Real Estate Finance COOP program, students can expect to gain additional skills to prepare them for entering the job market, including:

Creating and analyzing investment models for new opportunities and community-level projections for owned portfolio assets Exposure to the financing process and debt structuring Enhancing templates for LCS Real Estate internal reporting Participate in a presentation to the LCS Investment Committee Gathering industry information for the benefit of the organization

To provide a true learning experience, constructive feedback is provided by the assigned preceptor and a final evaluation will focus on the learning objectives that were identified at the start of the internship. Preceptors will evaluate a student’s positive accomplishments and opportunities for growth. If an intern was unable to meet their learning objectives, suggestions for improvement will be given. 

Experience: 

In pursuit of a degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field Strong quantitative skills, as well as highly developed written and oral communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and redirect priorities when needed Organized and detail-oriented Quick learner with strong collaboration skills

Estimated Salary Range: $21.00/hr. 

The actual title and salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
