Real Estate Intern
Veritiv's Internship Program will provide real world experience, team projects, social events, volunteer work and professional development trainings. The internships are full-time, hybrid and run June 2 to August 8, 2025.

Job Purpose:

Our Real Estate Intern will be responsible for learning about the many aspects of commercial and corporate real estate. This role will experience the steps to select and transact new and renewal lease transactions and understand how our team executes new supply chain initiatives and discover cost saving opportunities across the network. Veritiv’s Real Estate team is responsible for the strategy, management and execution of more than 15 million square feet of office and warehouse locations across the US, Mexico and Asia.

Job Responsibilities:

● Collaborate with multiple internal customers on projects and presentations.
● Identify opportunities to streamline process improvements.
● Take ownership of a project and then assist other team members to support company initiatives.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications:

•    Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely engagement on projects.
•    Conduct Real Estate Lease Review for operational savings as well as conduct Commercial Real Estate Lease Reviews.
•    Experience the steps to select and transact new and renewal lease transactions. 
•    Understand how the team executes new supply chain initiatives and discover cost saving opportunities across the network.  
•    Innovate processes to enhance interdepartmental efficiencies. 
•    Assist with special projects as needed.
•   Pursing a degree in economics, real estate, business, finance, accounting or construction management is preferred.
•    Exhibit great analytical skills.

Work Experience:

● Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment.● Ability to work in a team environment.● Ability to work quickly and efficiently.● Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required.● Must be highly motivated, flexible and deadline driven.● Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.● Strong planning and organization skills are required.● Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required.● The ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.

Education:

● Bachelor's Degree In Progress
