Job Description:At Regions, the Real Estate Market Intelligence Analyst (REMIA) enhances shareholder value by performing a thorough market analysis of the market and the bank's real estate position within the market as part of our enhanced due diligence work for Corporate Real Estate. REMIA are responsible for staying abreast of market activity and trends along with continually review and analyze data sources to properly assess the supply and demand drivers of assigned markets and potential real estate projects. REMIA works collaboratively with Real Estate professionals across all sectors to provide insight and recommendations.
Primary Responsibilities
Assesses real estate projects' position with their respective markets utilizing all available toolsUnderstands the methodologies used by data providers as the basis for differentiating between and applying data and forecastsInvestigates, utilizes, and collaborates with additional Commercial Real Estate data sources as a research professionalDevelops and maintains working relationships with internal and external parts to obtain market insightProduces market analysis reports to support the underwriting assumptions recommended to the Real Estate Banking Relationship Team and Real Estate CreditPresents insights and recommendations during deal team discussionsPerforms additional duties and/or projects as neededStays abreast of real estate market trends and share as appropriate for assigned markets.This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or GISOne (1) year of experience in real estate industry analysis/research, commercial banking or equivalentProficient with data research tools such as CoStar, Reis, Real Page, etc.Skills and Competencies
